Further study of the 4 hands on one guitar performance shows that for 95% of the time the chap at the back is playing the bass and middle notes, while the other is playing a single note melody.  This reduces it from pretty damned good to pretty darned good.  Flamenco players specialise in fast runs, I heard of some who compete at playing chromatic runs up and down the entire fingerboard, covering all strings and frets.  Good practice, but hard on the muscles.
