Mike,

Quite a man !  A point of geography .... not for the first time I see people fleeing to England from Norway/Sweden during WW2.  One lot, in a film, escaped by boat from the north of Norway to somewhere in the SE of England, thereby giving themselves a very long and dangerous journey.  They could have followed the Shetland Bus on its short trip due west and saved a lot of bother.  Why this foolhardy preoccupation with landing in England?
