Trying to save a few bob here and there so that these civil serpents can have stuff like thousand pound chairs to sit on while they drink their tea.

The latest 'good one' is that civil serpents serving in secluded parts of Afghanistan are now claiming the same medal that the soldiers are now earning, with their blood.
