My daughter who lives not far from Greenock Prison has just phoned to say that a cavalcade of police motor cycles, cars, helicopters and a large white van, no doubt containing Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed al Megrahi, passed by a few minutes back. Alternatively, it was a diversion and he went out a side door.  So, Kenny MacAskill turns out to be something unique among politicians, one with balls.
