A friend and I went to a talk sponsored by Old Pulteney Whisky in the  
Maritime Museum in Liverpool in February.  They were very generous  
with the Scotch and the talk was very interesting.  Tom McLean had  
rowed across the Atlantic a few times, he is quite a character.  When  
we left we didn't feel the cold !
