the article simply says, "According to Sen. Juan Hinojosa, vice chairman of 
the Finance Committee who proposed the ban, he did so because "of the many 
reports of problems with Vista." He goes on to say that:- "We are not in any 
way, shape or form trying to pick on Microsoft, but the problems with this 
particular [operating] system are known nationwide. And the XP operating 
system is working very well."

it's a giant step for mankind for the author, chris ullrich to therefore 
headline the article, "Texas bans Microsoft Vista from Government Use" (he 
would do well as a politician)

if juan hinojosa had said there was not much point in spending money 
changing from xp to vista I'm sure many would agree.

as a vista and xp user I have no problem with the msoft operating systems.
