made the hair on the back of my neck stand up, thank you for selecting it and emailing it to me. it has to be so incredibly rewarding to be able to produce music like that.

I must confess however, that I have never heard of david russell. according to wikipedia, when David was just five years of age, his family moved from Glasgow<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glasgow> to Minorca<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minorca>, where he very quickly became interested in the guitar<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guitar>, imitating the likes of Andrés Segovia<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andr%C3%A9s_Segovia> and Julian Bream<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julian_Bream>.
wonder what his family did that allowed them to pick up sticks n move to minorca! the five year old quickly became interested in the guitar! stranger and stranger..

all these great guitarist have left hand fingers like an octopus with the grip of a steel vice, and right hand nails like plectrums - mine break long before they get that long.

I willl never be able to play the mandolin-like contrapuntal sections with my right hand - come to think of it, I will never be able to play a clasical guitar like a mandolin.

he also has some serious barre work. I am quite unable to hold a full barre anywhere on the fret board and stop strings A and E, my grip just isn't stong enough.
