  Can hardly recognize the place but glad to see the improvements. You  
might have seen some of these pictures before.

The large St. Paul´s Cathedral is one of the oldest churches in India.

Take a look at the Eden Grounds by evening. Some of the most famous  
matches in cricket history have been played on these grounds.

The sun sets over the Vidyasagar Setu.

The daily grind gets to you sometimes, but driving over the Vidyasagar

Remembering John Elliot

In 1810, John Elliot, Kolkata's police commissioner took on the task  
of beautifying the Maidan. Elliot Park was named after him. Here,  
Elliot Park is lit up for the evening.
