For those not familiar with the area the Royal Oak is on the outskirts  
of the town going East.
 From A66 West  (Penrith)  take the Appleby turn go through the town  
and it's on the left as you head back out towards the A66 Scotch Corner.
 From A66 East (Scotch Corner) take Appleby turn and it's on the right  
just before the town.

Weather permitting I'm aiming to be there about 12 - 12:30.
