why DO people take this crap - we all know it is wrong.

we had similar crap from some county council in kent earlier this year - exact details escape me.

I emailed the idiots and got a response to the effect that they had recanted and it was "in error"

PS. as I mentioned before - jack edgar was 3eo in dara when I was 4eo.....................anyone know what happened to him

Excuse me while I vomit.  What is needed is for people to stop lying down to this crap. Our elder daughter was collecting the other day for an animal charity she helps locally (Cat Rescue).  Susan is not big, and is no wimpish animal lover, as a gent found out to his cost.  He came up to her and, pointing a finger, told her that "your cats shit all over my garden". Susan did a double take - she does a good double take.  "My cats? Your garden?  Who am I? Tell me that.  And who the hell are you? Do I know you? Do you want to put money in my tin?  If not, piss off."  He went. When Susan was a youngster, early teens, she had a Siamese cat - every cat we've ever had has been hers.  One day a girl knocked the door and told us a local "hard man", mid to late teens, had her cat in a bag and was off with it.  Susan left like a flash.  Witnesses related that she knocked him every which way and took the cat off him, then warned him his chances of living beyond his teens depended on how far away he stayed from her and her cat.  The clown did go beyond his teens, but he heeded her warning.  He was up for murder at least once, and he died of drink and drugs not long ago.

Everybody in that town should turn up with a tinny and rattle it.  I often found it useful to carrry out stupid orders so enthusiastically that they got sick of me.
