Being an original Sangolian, I react instinctively to the written or spoken word concerning this magnificent product of the Clyde.

Sadly, the best 2002 Google Earth picture I can receive will not reveal one jot or tittle of Sangola.

Apart from calling in Calcutta every two months and breaking her back in the Hooghly (very careless) what other connection might there be to this good ship to warrant attention such as this from Google?

PS Appreciating that I was in correspondence with erudite people, I decided to run the computer based 'Spelling Check' . It was interesting to note that this system suggested that I should change the word 'Google' to 'Goggle' Hmmm!

  If you have Google Earth, go to Kidderpore, Calcutta and you will see one small blue square denoting a photo. It shows Sangola alongside, no date.
