You really must calm down otherwise I shall begin to think that you rather enjoy the antics of the current crop of greedy, unprincipled politicians, bankers, lawyers, do-gooders and the hordes of unspeakable hangers on who soak up all the left overs.

The Scottish and other profligate jungliwallahs in Westminster, having reduced the nation to a rabble of benefit chasers, overpaid paper shufflers and government employed illegal immigrants, are beginning to look destined for a further term of office. Apart from the ballot box there is little serious legal action left to us.

Therefore, like your grief regarding the £/Euro exchange rate, our own financial pain and reduction in life quality, has driven me to broach discussions with the child bride to consider procuring a hovel in SW France as soon as she reaches retirement age.

As you know, her brother (who is approaching 70 ) has a ranch in the Charente but, never having been abroad before, has only been back to the UK twice in 6 years (Funerals!). He has  now augmented his Shires with Percherons, roams the countryside obliging the locals with tractors, diggers etc, is invited by Mayors to exhibit his horses and dray at local functions  and has booked slots for himself and wife through the local nunery/monsignor or whoever when it comes to adios time.

My wife, she say 'let's go - live close but not too close!'. Watch this space!
